Ironman & Ironman 70.3 Training Plans

There's nothing like running over the finish line of an Ironman or an IRONMAN 70.3 knowing you put your best race together. No one understands how special it is to race this distance more than me. My first attempt at the distance in 2008 had me hooked, since I achieved 2 age group podium finishes over the full distance, with 10th women overall (including professional athletes)  in Bolton 2017, and Kona IRONMAN world championship qualification 2022. As well as 2 times age group podium finishes, and  IRONMAN 70.3 world championship qualification in Nice 2018.

Creating Ironman training plans for other athletes is one of my favourite things to do. I get such a buzz from helping others achieve the feeling of crossing that Ironman finish line having completed an incredible race.

How do you develop the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 training plans?

When writing training plans for athletes who have taken the leap into iron distance, I coach them the way I would want to be coached. I know it isn't easy, we have hard days, it can be overwhelming, and time consuming. Between us we can work around other life commitments, and come up with an achievable plan that will deliver you at your best on race day. I will listen and respond to your feedback every step of the way and get you to that very special finish line.

Plans are delivered via the Training Peaks app and reviewed regularly. I will review your detailed training data as well as getting first hand feedback from you to allow me to adapt your plan as required. It's important that we have regular contact so that I can really understand how you're feeling both physically and mentally and build this into the next phase of your plan. There are no restrictions to the amount of contact we have or changes to the plan. 


A personalised training plan is an athletes secret weapon when training for an Ironman event. It is often a step up from anything an athlete has ever achieved before and a training plan really can be the difference between surviving or thriving.  As an athlete you will be confident that you're giving the right focus to each sport,  achieving the right level of training intensity and the right amount of rest & recovery in order to be your very best on race day.
